Cremation Keepsakes

Cremation keepsakes? An odd thing for a jewelry artist to offer? Not when you consider Michele’s husband has been a Funeral Director for 27 years and counting. It was at his urging that she began to explore the possibilities of creating beautifully hand crafted fine art cremation jewelry and keepsakes.

In 2004 she designed a line of wholesale cremation jewelry called New Traditions, available only to independently owned funeral homes and crematoriums in the Tampa Bay area–from Land O Lakes to Riverview, and Sun City Center to St. Petersburg and Tampa on up the Nature Coast including Dunedin, Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs–that has been met with much enthusiasm.

After a time, she began receiving requests for custom cremation memorials–she even made a glass butterfly that was affixed to a headstone–and so she travels the path that has been laid before her.  It is truly a gift the artist has been given, and a blessing, to be able to offer some small comfort to the living and honor those who have passed.
